Center for Neighborhoods
After an internship in the summer of 2019 with the Center for Neighborhoods, they officially hired me onto the team in August 2019. One of my main objectives was to create video(s) to support their upcoming 1st Annual “State of the Neighborhoods Address” at the Kaufman Foundation Convention Center. During that time I conducted more than a dozen video interviews with neighborhood, city, and state leaders, while attending and filming numerous events and neighborhood meetings. The purpose was to support CFN’s message at the SONA event and highlight the great work that Kansas City’s neighborhoods do.
My second large task was to create a new website and new creative content for Center for Neighborhoods. It was time they elevated their website to work as a tool and resource for CFN Cohort members, and to better represent CFN moving forward to a more visible role in the Kansas City community. When you becoming more visible – and visibility does matter – you want to make sure you’re well represented online. I’m proud of the work that Center for Neighborhoods does, and happy to have contributed to their continued success in empowering and partnering with Kansas City neighborhood leaders.
